CYNTHIA DALY-BOAS

Cynthia Daly-Boas was granted her angel wings on September 22nd 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way or another throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Cynthia’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Cynthia looked forward to going every day to Joel Barlow School where she taught. The teachers and students brought so much joy into her life. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A favorite pass time was always laughing with her sisters.

Cynthia is survived by her husband John Boas; her mother, Joan Reilly; sisters Barbara Reilly, Terrie Reilly and Christine Reilly; brother Michael Reilly; son Michael Daly and spouse Nicole Daly; daughter Marisa Daly; and 3 grandchildren; Shawn, Mackenzie, and Ryleighann She was preceded in death by her first husband James Daly, and her father Robert Reilly.

The family will receive friends at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 26 Dodgingtown Rd., Bethel, Wednesday morning at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bethel.
