Laurie Ann Munday age 54 of New Milford, died Wednesday morning, September 26, 2012, in Danbury Health Care, surrounded by her family.

Laurie was born October 15, 1957 in New Milford, CT a daughter of Margaret Sheridan Cass-Squires and P. Richard Cass. She was a graduate of New Milford High School and attended both Eastern Connecticut State University and Western Connecticut State University. While Laurie was raising her family she found time to be a volunteer at the public library reading to children and took time to visit the residence at Butter Brook. She was a loving and giving person who will be missed by all who know her.

In addition to her parents, Laurie is survived by two sons: Christopher Munday and his wife Rebecca, Matthew Munday and his wife Stella; two brothers: Richard Cass and his wife Cindy and Douglas Cass; two sisters: Vicki Phillips and her husband Barry and Marcie Smith and three grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday September 29, 2012 at 11 am in Center Cemetery Bridgewater.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation.
