Marie F. (Claussen) Spagnolo

Marie Frances (Claussen) Spagnolo, age 100, of Bethel, CT, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at her home. She was the widow of John S. Spagnolo.

A resident of Bethel since 1960, she was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Bethel.

Marie is survived by a daughter: Anne Marie Spagnolo of Bethel, CT; 2 grandchildren: Jennifer Danise and her husband Rich of Ocala, FL, Michael Spagnolo and his wife Jackie of Brookfield, CT and five great grandchildren: Cassie, Cory, Erin, Jaime and Allison. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son: John M. Spagnolo who died in 1987.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Bethel, Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel, will follow the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Danbury Animal Welfare Society (DAWS), 147 Grassy Plain St, Bethel, CT 06801.

There are no calling hours. The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, is handling arrangements.
